ReWilding Supports

It’s incredibly important to nurture and support yourself, especially while walking the Feminine Awakening Path! Sometimes the call for self care will be so loud, other times a whisper. Many times you will know exactly what you need while others may require some experimenting. Here is a list of ideas that was co-created by our beautiful ReWilding community.

We are all so unique and what supports one person doesn’t always support the next. The beauty of this list is that it provides a lot of things to feel into and choose from. Take your time as you move through the suggestions and do your best to stay open and let your body wisdom come through. She will always let you know what is calling strongest, we just need to listen deeply and act when she gives the signal.

  • Be In Nature:
    • HUG A TREE!
    • Float in a river!
    • Get in the dirt, plant something!
    • Find and connect with the effortless balance and harmony within nature. Allow it to remind you of a much greater perspective – ‘thy will not my will’. We are simply part of a much bigger, beautifully woven whole. Allow it to help ease any unnecessary pressure you are currently feeling.
    • Get quiet and receptive to the answers/comforts/symbols/guidance that Divine is sending you through her natural language.
    • Listen to the wind, birds and trees. This can help to recharge and bring in support for whatever challenge is waiting next.
    • Lean into Ceres / Great Mother / Gaia / Pachamama.  
    • Pets! Get wild, loving and snuggly with them! They transmit powerful medicine not to mention the medicine you transmit back to them as well. “The giving is the receiving, the receiving is the giving.”
    • Seaside… Riverside… Walk in the Rain… Just being by the water heals…
  • Body Based Practices, Movement and Bodywork:
    • Massage, bodywork and healing touch can help heaps with integrating and grounding. 
    • Find a Bodyworker that resonates with you! These body based therapies can help you access stuck energy and assist in moving “rubble” through. 
    • Eat well. Honor when you are called to eat specific foods or take additional supplements/super foods/etc.
    • SLEEP! Get enough sleep and allow yourself to simply rest – This one is HUGE! If you have trouble sleeping get into a habit of doing something to separate your day from your night before crawling into bed. A hot shower, meditation, a prayer for good sleep to grace you until morning. 
    • Take a nap!
    • Hugs and cups of tea – loads of them!!!
    • Kinesiology / Intuitive Healing / Reiki can all help pick up on the “unseen” and offer suggestions on specific supports available – oils, vitamins, minerals, meditations, etc
    • Vibrational support such as flower essences/essential oils.
    • Music and movement.
    • Guided meditations that use sounds frequency.
    • See a creative arts therapist (can even do this via online!)
    • Dance! Listen to uplifting music to raise your mood and vibration.
    • Draw!
    • See an Osteopath.
    • MUSIC! Singing it, playing it, dancing to it or just listening.
    • Play a sport.
    • Get adjusted by a Network Spinal Analysis (form of chiropractic).
    • Practice Somato-Respiratory Integration.
    • Stay away from too much sugar or refined processed foods.
    • Nourish your body and reward it positively.
    • EFT tapping
    • Go for long drives and SING!
    • Cacao.
    • Drumming.
    • Belly Dancing.
  • Positive, Supportive Relationships and Community:
    • Lean into circle, ReWilding or other! Sometimes friends can’t open to the things you are experiencing.
    • Seek out a supportive counselor that can be an anchor in times of need
    • Ask for specific help with something you could really use assistance with.
    • Therapy.
    • Sex – for connection, to nurture self and to open to creativity.
    • Remember that you don’t have to walk this path alone. Encourage yourself to reach out for support, simply ask a close friend or ReWilding Sister to hold space for you.
    • Tibetan Singing Bowl Meditation Circle. 
    • Yoga
    • Communicate your boundaries clearly with loved ones. Let them know what you need and where you are at energetically/emotionally/physically so that it’s not taken personally.
  • Honoring Your Sovereignty:
    • Journal.
    • Find time and space to just be with you.
    • Take a break from Social Media!!!
    • Remind Yourself that the challenging times don’t last.
    • Allow yourself to feel whatever is coming up without judgment.
    • Allow yourself to have a really good cry when you feel it wanting to move through you!
    • Find supportive communities, friends, circles to share what you are going through with others.
    • As much loving self-talk as possible – notice the traps of negative thinking and pull yourself out as soon as you notice.
    • Get up early to take for yourself! It doesn’t matter what you do but pick an allotted amount of time before the business of your day begins. Suggestions include: dancing, running, meditating, reading supportive ReWilding Posts. Trust yourself and engage in what is calling the loudest!
    • Honor and make space for your menstrual cycles. It takes devotion, but it’s worth it!
    • Cook yourself nutritious meals. 
    • Take baths use salt scrubs, do self massage and get extra sleep/allow for more rest.
    • keep flowers in the house just because they bring joy. 
    • Burn Palo Santo, ringing a bell, and singing to fill the space with love and supportive energy.
    • Crystals! Sleep with crystals. See an intuitive healer that works with crystals!
    • Reading Women Who Run with the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estés.
    • Poetry! Write it. Read it. Be it!
    • Quiet.
    • Salt Rinses – Mix 2x shot glasses of either Celtic sea salt or Himalayan Pink salt, fill a jug with warm/ hot water and before you get out of the bath pour it over my body to remove stagnant residue and cleanse the aura.
    • Be Gentle… listen to what your body requires…
    • Flow – just go with whatever it is that has been brought up, acknowledge your emotions and express them without being critical or laying judgment…
    • Self love.
    • Envision good energetic boundaries around yourself.
    • Pull cards from an oracle deck.
    • Floatation tanks.
    • EFT tapping.
    • Yoni steaming.
    • Solfeggio Frequency music on Youtube.
    • Meditation radio on Pandora.
    • Listen to Nature Space (a free app with 6 sounds that does holographic sound audio theatre!)
    • Floatation tanks.
    • Create an altar.
    • Connect to your heart.
    • Place your hands on your body and just feeling yourself.
