Mary Magdalene
Goddess of Wisdom, Love and Sacred Union
Introduction to Mary Magdalene
About Mary Magdalene
Mary Magdalene is a powerful feminine energy bringing love and connection to the world. Her wisdom is so deep of the ancient feminine ways, she was taught the sacred embodiment of supple, gentle and openness; with the embodiment of the unconventional wild feminine, Priestess roots and heights, unwavering focus and soul stamina, and immense passion. She is a symbol of the divine path, and is often represented by a rose- a sacred ancient flower linked to ancient wisdom surrounding sacred geometry avidly studied in Ancient Egypt, as well as the rose being a symbol for the spiral path of one’s spiritual journey, and of course the rose also has links to woman and her fertility, blood cycles and sacred sexuality. The myth of Mary Magdalene again is split, like many other myths that have traversed through to our time. Her existence during the time when Jesus walked the earth has been represented as a sinner, a prostitute, something less than holy. There is a reclamation of the divine feminine and a reclamation of this outdated propaganda style myth leading into the truth of who Mary Magdalene was and her teachings.
Mary Magdalene was a student of the Ancient Occult teachings of the Isis lineage in Egypt. This lineage studied and embodied the opposites within the feminine energy, as well as within the opposites of the masculine energy. When the two forces merged within the student was reunited with God/ Universe. It’s that deep ancient wisdom combined with the highest connection that completely absolves the body and mind so that an experience of oneness is achieved- embodying the full spectrum of energies present during the time of studying. It was from this place, fully anchored and embodied that the merging with another soul could take place. From fullness to fullness.
Mary Magdalene is said to have been the lover of Jesus. Some suggest her to have been the wife of Jesus. The practice of holy union within Self and with other is something that is highlighted of what the merging of these two Beings brought to each other and for each other and the collective during a time of great upheaval in the world. The merging of the inner world with the outer world- of inner energy with outer physical form, sensitivity with unwavering power, healing with the tangibility of speaking and studying, revealed how Mary Magdalene merged two worlds together. That was her role with the disciples, merging the world of self realization with the world of woman- that which was (and in some places still is) considered less than that of man. The fact that she existed and both was a student as well as practitioner with Jesus reveals a merging of two opposites to help bridge the gap between two worlds.
She is a healing balm to the world, and implores us to soften our hearts, to open to her energy, to feel her passion, her constant pouring of love, her unwavering faith in human kind despite previous and constant mistreatment. To stay aligned with our truth, to love against the odds- even if it takes every last trace of courage you possess. To allow love to work within you and the power of the ancient feminine to unravel the knots stopping you from living in your fullness, that have kept you hidden even from yourself. She asks for courage of heart to let go of fears, of restrictive beliefs, and ignites your inner flame, re-connects you to your life force energy and asks you to be so courageous in the journey of trusting, allowing and connecting so intimately so that you are completely seen and felt by others as much as you see and feel them…. That it IS, in this very act of raw transparent, passionate, courageous divine love, that you then become the balm needed in the world and continue doing her grace filled work on the planet.
Mary Magdalene was very empowered and balanced within herself, she was renowned for her anointing abilities- particularly of the feet. There is symbolism in this- she can love all aspects of Self and other. To lovingly wash and clean and massage the feet of others is a practice of connection, of love, of honouring the difficulties other’s walk on their path and soothing that individual as they walk their path whilst holding great love for the person beyond the person, and having an open channel for the energy to merge from the depths of feminine wisdom and the heights of christ light consciousness and beyond…..
She is known for her Priestess abilities which is connecting the heights with the depths and sharing this out in the world. Using the anointing as an example of the many facets of her work, she was able to merge her huge heart energy and divine connected love not just through her energetic love and space holding, but also through her hands, from which the heart connection flowed to before touching the individual and continuing the connection and flow.
Mary Magdalene practiced in France and continued the feminine practice of embodiment and married it with her power and grace of healing in the world. She stands as a woman challenging the norms of society not just by speaking out and sharing divine wisdom, but by embodying it and living in a way that expressed this. No hiding.. She has such divine love and passion and power that she helps incite deep courage in women and men to embody their feminine wisdom and express it out in the world. The ripple effect of love is never ending and is transforming history, the lives being lived presently and rewriting the lives to come.
